Students at the Early Childhood Center enjoyed near perfect weather to be outside riding around a track at Mountain View Recreational Park.

On Thursday of last week, students held their annual Trike-A-Thon in order to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Several students were recognized as raising the most money for the cause, including Breeli Fitzgerald, who raised $550, and Addison Whittenburg with $445.

This year, the ECC raised $2,613.40 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Since the Clinton County School District has been participating in the Trike-A-Thon students have rasied more than $40,000 during the past 12 years to help care for children who are fighting to stay alive.

The students who raised the most money were awarded trophies and medals and spent the day outside riding their bicycles.
