Tickets now on sale for Barefoot in the Park

Good Neighbors Theatre, Highway 111 in Byrdstown will present the Neil Simon play, Barefoot in the Park on May 2 and 3 at 7:00 pm and May 4 at 2:00 pm.

The following week’s performances are scheduled for May 8, 9, and 10 at 7:00 pm.

American playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon is widely regarded as one of the most successful, prolific and performed playwrights in the world. His plays and musicals include Come Blow Your Horn, The Odd Couple, Sweet Charity, Plaza Suite, Promises, Promises, Last of the Red Hot Lovers, The Sunshine Boys, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Rumors, and The Goodbye Girl.

Good Neighbors Theatre is excited to be bringing Barefoot in the Park to Pickett County.

The story focuses on newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter and their adventures living in a minuscule fifth floor walk-up apartment in a Greenwich Village brownstone.

Ticket price is $12 for Adults and $10 for Children 3-12. Infants through age two are free if they are on a lap. Tickets are available at the Byrdstown/Pickett County Chamber of Commerce and can be placed on Will Call by calling (931) 864-7195.

Tickets may also be purchased in advance in person at the Chamber Office on Highway 111. All tickets are non-refundable.

Ticket holders may sell their tickets on their own if they have to cancel in advance of a production.

Persons needing special assistance for wheelchairs/walkers should make that known when purchasing their tickets.

A phone message will also be left at GNT. The Ticket Outlet/House Manager will advise customers of alternative available performance dates as necessary. Doors will open for seating approximately 30 minutes prior to performances.
