Everette Lacey Bishop, age 84, Lakewood Estates, Albany and a native of West Virginia, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at Clinton County Hospital. He was preceded in death by a step-son, Clifford Bailey and two sisters, Madeline Bishop and Dora Mullins.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Dowell Bishop, Albany; four sons, Kenneth Bishop, TX; Eddie Bishop, IN; Ronnie Bishop, W. VA; Kenny Bishop, Albany; a step-son, Roger Bailey, IN; a brother, Ralph Bishop, VA; a sister, Marie Blankenship, W. VA; also eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Revs. Ronnie Gray, Scott Jones and Frankie Guffey officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
