Lady Bat Dawgs win four of last six games, move to 5-12

Above, Taylor Delk made contact during the first inning of Clinton County’s home game against Warren Central Friday. The Lady Bat Dawgs lost the game, 7-5, but picked up wins last week against Scott, Tenn., 6-4, Oneida, Tenn., 3-1, Russell County, 3-2 and Monroe County, 8-1.

Head Coach Darrell Thompson called a meeting on the pitcher’s mound during the Warren Central game with pitcher Cori Langford and catcher Makenzie Polston.

Mariah Thompson threw a Warren Central runner out at first during Clinton County’s home game against the Lady Dragons. Clinton County lost the contest, 7-5, and moved to 5-12 on the year. The Lady Bat Dawgs started the year with a 1-10 record, but have won four of its last six games.
