Clinton County also traveled to Metcalfe County last week for a double header. The Hornets took the first game, 10-2, but Clinton County grabbed a win in the second of the two games, 5-4. Jordan Goodman scooped up a ball and threw a runner out at first base last week during Clinton County’s home game against Cumberland County. The Lady Bat Dawgs lost the game, 10-5, however, the game was an improvement with Cumberland County taking the first meeting between the two teams, 14-1.
