The Kentucky State Police were called to the scene of an ATV accident involving 13-year-old Hannah Myers and 12-year-old Abby Tallent Wednesday, April 23.

According to a press release issued by the KSP, the accident occurred around 6:40 p.m. when the ATV, operated by Myers, pulled into the path of a southbound 1999 Ford Ranger driven by 57-year-old Roger Duvall.

Myers and passenger, Tallent, were both transported to Clinton County Hospital followed with Myers being transported to the University of Tennessee Hospital and Tallent was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital.

The accident occurred on Guinn Bullard Ash Road, eight miles south of Albany.

The KSP was assisted at the scene by the Clinton County EMS.

None of the official reports listed the names of the parents of the victims.
