Smith presents senior recital

The music studio of Janice Hay Warhurst NCTM proudly presents the Senior Recital of piano and voice student, Julianne Smith, Sunday, May 4, 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Byrdstown, Tennessee. A reception will follow the recital.

Her impressive program of piano and vocal masterworks will include compositions by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Giordani, Leoni, Grieg, Gorshwin, H.L. Wilson and Bartok. Assisting in the program will be Rita Powell, Delilah Talbott, Dylan Crouch, Maria Pryor, Alissa Cook, Molly Morgan and pianist Janice Warhurst.

Julianne will be attending Transylvania University this fall on scholarship to continue her study of music.

In the photo above, Michael J. Bell, Vice President and Dean of the college, presents Smith with her music and academic scholarship.

She is the daughter of Greg and Julia Dicken Smith; the granddaughter of Morris and Phyllis Long Smith and the late Ira Lee “Curly” and the late Jean Dyer Dicken.

Family, friends and lovers of music are invited to attend.
