Cooperative Extension Centennial Celebration
Join the Celebration! On Thursday, May 8th, 2014 we are asking for you to join us in celebrating Extension’s 100th year anniversary at your local Clinton County Extension office from 3:30-5:30 P.M.
Refreshments and food will be served, courtesy of your local Extension Office.
In 2014, we’re celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Smith-Level Act, which established the Cooperative Extension Service, a state-by-state national network of educators who extend university-based research and knowledge to the people.
Celebrate 100 years of extending knowledge and changing lives.
District speech competition
On May 3rd, our winners from the Clinton County Speech Competition competed in the Lake Cumberland Area District Showcase at Lindsey Wilson College. Below you will find the results from that competition.
Our Grand Champions were the first place winners in their category that will go on to compete at the state level competition in July at the University of Kentucky.

Shooting Sports
Shooting Sports have started up again in Clinton County. It is available to any boy or girl ages 9-18. We currently offer BB Gun, 22 Rifle, and trap (shotgun) to ages 9-18. We also offer 22 pistol to ages 13 and up.

Requirements to join are: proof of insurance, Hunter Safety Education Card (orange card), and $20 club dues.
