It was made into a 1967 movie with Robert Redford, who also was in the stage production, and Jane Fonda in the lead roles. The 1963 Tony-nominated comedy play by Neil Simon is about a young couple and their odd neighbors in their small apartment building in Greenwich Village, New York. It explores the troubles that newlyweds face. The Broadway production lasted nearly four years, with over 1500 performances.
