Beekeepers to meet

The Twin Lakes Beekeepers Association will meet Thursday, May 8, 7 p.m., at the Clinton County Extension Office. Anyone interested in beekeeping is welcomed and urged to attend.

Board of Education meeting

Clinton County Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, May 12 at 5 p.m. at the Central Office conference room. The meting is open to the general public.

Clinton Fiscal Court to meet

Clinton County Fiscal Court will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday, May 15 at 5 p.m. at the courthouse. The meeting is open to the general public.

Class of ‘74 planning meeting

The Clinton County High School Class of 1974 will have a reunion planning meeting Thursday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Lee’s Famous Recipe. All persons interested in a class reunion are asked to attend.

Chamber of Commerce to meet

The Chamber of Commerce will meet Wednesday, May 21 at 12 noon at Lee’s Famous Recipe. Door prizes will be awarded.

Precinct officer training session

The training session of election precinct officers for the May 20 primary election will be held Friday, May 2 at 2 p.m. at the Clinton County Courthouse. All officers are urged to attend.

Concealed carry class at Twin Lakes Wellnesss Center

Twin Lakes Family Wellness Center will be hosting a concealed carry/safety class May 17th, taught by Jennifer Warinner. The Class is eight hours long and part of this class will take place at the gun range).

The cost of the class is $75. Deadline for sign up – May 10. Gift certificates are available to purchase.

Lake Cumberland Head Start/Early Head Start pre-enrollment

Lake Cumberland Head Start/Early Head Start is now taking applications for the 2014-15 school year. Head Start is for three and four-year old children and Early Head Start for income-eligible families, including pregnant women, infants and toddlers through age three. AA meeting 

AA will be meeting each Thursday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. in the basement of the First Christian Church. 

VA Rep available 

Veterans and their families seeking benefits in south central Kentucky will now be able to find help and advice at a central location. Gary Jones, the Veterans Benefits Field Representative for Clinton and surrounding counties, will be in Glasgow at 126 E. Public Square, Lower Level, every day except for the first Tuesday, second Monday, second Tuesday, second Thursday and third Monday of each month. Narcotics Anonymous 

Narcotics Anonymous group meets each Monday, Tuesday and Friday nights at 7 p.m. at the Bright Idea Missionary Baptist Church basement in Albany. These meetings are open to anyone wanting to address their drug and alcohol problems.
