Joan Thomas, 67, Albany, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Clinton County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Maurice and Ruth Thomas and was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Gayle Vincent, a brother, Gary Thomas and a sister, Elaine Sampson.

She is survived by a son, Scotty (Sherry) Vincent; a daughter, Stephanie Thrasher, all of Albany; a brother, Rudy Thomas, Columbia, KY; five sisters, Sharon Tallent, Judy (Ed) Ramey, Diane (Lonnie) Davis, Gay Agee, all of Albany; Shannon Brown, Monticello, KY; three grandchildren, Matthew Thrasher, Devin and Derik Vincent; and one great-grandchild, Cannon Thrasher.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Martin officiating. Final resting place in Hill Top Cemetery at Seventy-Six Falls. Arrangements made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
