James Russell Shaw, 77, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

He is survived by his wife, Vera Shaw, Burkesville, KY; two sons, Timothy and Mike Shaw; a daughter, Schonia Dicken, all of Albany; best friend, David Guffey; also 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Cave Springs Baptist Church in Clinton County with Bro. Ronnie Jones and Bro. Jason Brogan officiating. Final resting place in Lewis Cemetery in Cumberland County. Arrangements made through Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home of Burkesville.
