Jesse L. Guffey, 95, Ky. Hwy. 829, Albany, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Clinton County Care and Rehab Center. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by a daughter, Earlene Guffey.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Guffey; a daughter, Rita Guffey, both of Albany; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Frances Guffey, Albany; Dan and Joan Guffey, Lexington, KY; a brother, Cecil Guffey, Monticello, KY; four grandchildren, Jamie (Kristie), Shelby (Kelly) and Colby (Sarah Beth) Guffey and Danielle (Erik) Huber; and three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Landon, and Reagan.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Jones and Bro. Jimmy Dishman officiating. Final resting place in Walnut Grove Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
