Windell K. Cash, 80, Blue Mound, Illinois and formerly of Albany, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the son of the late Edward and Lola (Riddle) Cash, a veteran of the U.S. Army and was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Earl Cash, a grandson, Jimmy Wayne Cash, Jr.; three brothers, Albert, Raymond and James Cash and four sisters, Jewell Butler, Maggie Burchett, Nina Beaty and Nellie Cross. He attended Way of Life Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Frances Cash, Blue Mound, IL; children, Jimmy Wayne Cash, Blue Mound, IL; Tressa Lunell (Ray) Thomas, Lovington, IL; Denton Gale Cash, Blue Mound, IL; a brother, Pete (Doris) Cash, Albany; sisters, Ruby Coomer, Albany; Donna Cooksey, Brooks, KY; grandchildren, Joseph Adam Albright, Andrew Windell Albright, Brandon Paul Cash, James Stanley, Zach Morressy, Abigail Cash; also several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home in Blue Mound, Illinois. Burial was in Old Stoneington Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements were made through Dawson and Wiksoff Funeral Home of Blue Mound, Illinois.
