Grand jury indicts two last week

The Clinton County Grand Jury had a light session last Thursday, June 12, returning true bills in open circuit court against two persons, as follows:

* The alleged offenses of criminal mischief-3rd degree (Class B misdemeanor); receiving stolen property; criminal trespass-3rd degree; and burglary-3rd degree, against Sidney Foster, when on or about May 11, 2013, the defendant broke out windows at a residence; retained or disposed of a pocket watch, rings, heart pendant, Dale Earnhart Model Car and sterling silver engagement ring belonging to another person, valued at under $10,000; remained unlawfully in the residence with the intent to commit a crime.

* The alleged offense of flagrant non-support against Timothy J. Hammond, when on or about February 1, 1997 through June 12, 2014, defendant failed to provide support for his minor child or children, and by virtue of failing to pay support now being in arrearage in the amount of $23,475.82 as of June 12, 2014.
