John William Phillips, age 67, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at his residence in Burkesville. He was born in Guyton, Georgia on August 8, 1946. He was preceded in death by his father, John Anthony Phillips.

He is survived by his mother, Francis Myrtle Sasser Phillips Marcucci of West Palm, Florida, his wife, Linda Cary Phillips of Burkesville, Kentucky, his children, Brett Phillips, Rachel Phillips, Colleen Parker, all of Nashville, Tennessee, Rebecca Phillips of Ohio, Junior Graham, Tina Graham of Burkesville, Kentucky and Timmy Graham of Burkesville, Kentucky, his brothers, Jerry Phillips and Ronnie Phillips, both of Georgia; his sister, Susan Fleury, of Florida; fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash officiating.

Burial will be in the Perkins Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
