Zelma Davis Higginbotham, 89, Louisville, Kentucky and formerly of Burkesville and Albany, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Wesley Manor Health Care in Louisville. She was the daughter of the late William and Zola Johnson Davis, wife of the late Conrad Higginbotham and was also preceded in death by a son, Benny James Higginbotham, two brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ronda and Gary Norris, Louisville, KY; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Clark, Byrdstown, TN; Eloise (Lyle) Stalcup, Burkesville, KY; Patsy (Roy) Melton, Louisville, KY; theww grandchildren, Ronald Edward and Karen Norris, both of Burkesville; and James Allen Norris, West Point, KY; also four great-grandchildren, Briana, Brittany, Stephanie and Lauren Norris.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 20, 2014 at Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Final resting place in Smith Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County. Arrangements were made through Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville. Memorial contributions are suggested to Smith Grove United Methodist Church.
