James G. (J.G.) Craft, age 79, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away, Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Clinton County Hospital in Albany, Kentucky. He was a prominent local businessman in Albany, being in business since 1969. He was co-owner of Craft Building Supply, Craft Trucking, and Craft Car Wash.

Craft was the son of the late Glenn and Wilma (Huddleston) Craft.

Survivors include his wife, Norma (Brown) Craft; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marla Craft Hall and Daniel Hall of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Lea Ann Craft Simpson and Brian Simpson of Franklin, Kentucky; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Chris Craft of Albany, Kentucky, Joe and Pauleese Craft, Lyall and Marie Craft all of Sparta, Tennessee; one grandchild, Cannon Glenn Hall; two step-grandchildren, Eric Simpson and Kristyn Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Hill Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky.
