Hunter Education Course

A free Kentucky Hunter Education course is scheduled for Saturday, July 12 at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Located at Lakeland Coon Club in Albany. Pre-registration is now required for all courses and is completed by visiting the Hunter Education page at fw.ky.gov. Board of Education to meet

Clinton County Board of Education is scheduled to hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, July 14 at 5 p.m. at the Central Office conference room. The meeting is open to the general public.

Fiscal Court regular meeting

Clinton County Fiscal Court will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday, July 17 at 5 p.m. at the courthouse. The meeting is open to the general public. 39-2

Twin Lakes beekeepers meeting

The Twin Lakes Beekeepers Association will meet this Thursday, July 10 at 7 p.m. at the Extension Office. Those interested in beekeeping are welcome to attend.

CCHS Class of 2004 reunion

The Clinton County High School Class of 2004 will be having itsten-year reunion this Saturday, July 12, 2014 at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset Kentucky. For those who have made reservations with dinner, the dinner will start at 6 p.m. CDT. Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. CDT and last until 10 p.m. CDT. This event is open to all class graduates, those who were ever a member of this class during K-12 who may not have graduated and to all faculty, and staff of AES, CCMS and CCHS who have worked with our class. There will be a $5 admission charge to help pay for reunion expenses, but if price is a problem, you can still be admitted.

Soccer teams begin practice

The Clinton County High School Soccer teams will begin practice on Friday, July 11 at 11 a.m. at the middle school. This will be the first day of practice for both boys and girls. Schedules will be given then.

Grain producers meeting at Wayne County Extension Office

Area grain producers are invited to a meeting at the Wayne County Extension Office located at 255 Rolling Hills Blvd. in Monticello, Kentucky on Thursday July 24th at 1:30 pm CST. Representatives from Tyson Foods purchasing department will be at the meeting to discuss purchasing grain for the new feed mill located here in Albany.

A grain storage meeting will be held via Microsoft Lync at the Clinton County Extension Office on Tuesday July 29th at 8:30 am as part of a grain series program conducted by the UK Extension Service.

Sam McNeil will present information on factors that should be considered when storing grain. All area grain producers are invited to attend. For more information please contact the Clinton County Extension Office at 606-387-5404.

CCHS Class of ‘61 reunion

The CCHS Class of 1961 will have a reunion July 12, 2014 the at South Kentucky RECC building at 715 Snow Road, Albany, Kentucky from 1-5 p.m. It is free. Drinks and snacks will be available.
