Gary R. Cole, 61, Lancaster, Kentucky and a native of Albany, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at his residence. He was the son of the late Warren Preston Cole and was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Nancy King McQuerry and was a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Waunola A. Cole; his wife, Rachel McQuerry Cole, Lancaster, KY; a daughter, Abigail Cole, Lexington, KY; his father-in-law, Earl McQuerry, Lancaster, KY; locally by an uncle Gayle (Velma) Pitman, Albany; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Ramsey Funeral Home with final resting place in Paint Lick Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Ramsey Funeral Home of Lancaster, Kentucky. Online condolences may be made at www.ramseyfuneralhome.com.
