Cadle Asberry, 78, Maupin Rd., Albany, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at Clinton County Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended Beech Bottom Baptist Church and was the son of the late Frank and Alta Asberry.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Asberry, Albany; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Bill Stofer, Cave Creek, AZ; a sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Bob Ballard, Winchester, KY; two step-grandchildren, Jessica and Jonathan Stofer; one step-great-granddaughter, Sarah Stofer; a nephew, Matthew Ballard; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Waid and Bro. Bobby Sexton officiating. Final resting place in Maupin Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany. Memorials are suggested to the Beech Bottom Baptist Church Building Fund.
