Ruth Joyce (Stockton) Upchurch, 82, Albany, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late James Ed and Parmellia Susan (Huddleston) Stockton and was also preceded in death by a son, Philmore Upchurch, three brothers, Charlie, Jim and Bob Stockton and three sisters Pearl Gibson and Loma Wolcott and an infant sister.

She is survived by two brothers, John H. “Dick” (Mona) Stockton; Eddy Howard “Tuddy” (Ruth) Stockton; a daughter-in-law, Betty Upchurch; special friend, Donald Stockton, all of Albany and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Sawyer officiating. Final resting place in Hillcrest Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
