Dewey Chester Young, 73, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at his residence. He attended Spears Chapel Community Church and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ida Ruth Melton Young, Burkesville, KY; a brother and sister-in-law, Nile and Sherry Young, Mitchell, IN; a sister, Bonnie Robbins, Louisville, KY; also several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash and Bro. Troy Stewart officiating. Final resting place in Spears Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville. Online condolences may be made at www.norris-new.com.
