Thelma Ruth York, 78, Albany, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Kentucky. She was the wife of the late Luther York and a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathie and Doug Jarvis; a son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Barbara York, all of Albany; also three sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. David Stewart and Bro. Joe Summers officiating. Final resting place in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
