Rev. Carlos H. Coop, 81, Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital. He was first in charge of five churches in Tennessee with the remainder of his ministry in Kentucky where he retired from full-time ministry in 1982. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Lee Flowers Coop.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Helen and Billy Dean Milby, Burkesville, KY; a brother, Rev. Howard Coop, Lancaster, KY; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Lanny Garner, Bro. Charles Huddleston and Bro. Greg Wells officiating.
