To the Editor,

1 Peter 4:12-19 tells us that just because you have become a Christian doesn’t mean life won’t ever hurt you anymore. We will be tested and proven faithful as Christ was. How happy you will be some day when you meet God if you held on to your faith.

You may have to suffer just because you are a Christian. This is happening around the world now according to the TV news.

Never be ashamed of your faith, but be proud of it. The day of judgment is coming. What will happen to those who did not follow God? Verse 19 advises, “Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.”

God is our faithful Creator.
