Monday morning saw a mix of traffic at area boat launching ramps on both Dale Hollow Lake and Lake Cumberland, as boating enthusiasts crowded the ramps headed in both directions. While many local boaters were taking advantage of the long Labor Day holiday weekend to get in some boating time Monday, many of the tourists who had been enjoying the lakes throughout the weekend, were trying to get their boats loaded onto trailers for the trip back home.

The scene above was found mid-morning Monday at Wisdom Dock and Marina on Dale Hollow Lake as vehicles lined the roadway leading to the launch ramp.
