August activity report

Albany Police Department has released its activity report for the month of August 2014. During the month, 31 citations were issued involving 17 violations.

Citations issued for the month include: unlawful transaction with a minor, five; possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a minor, 4 each; DUI, no operator’s license, possession of marijuana and third degree rape, two each. There was one citation each for the following: possession of methamphetamine; speeding; fourth degree assault; hindering apprehension; no insurance; failure to register or transfer vehicle; no motorcycle license; DUI with aggravator, alcohol intoxication, criminal summons and trafficking in marijuana.

During the month of August, APD also served one criminal summons and 14 warrants.
