Local youth actors to present Pied Piper performance Friday, September 12

What do you do when your town is overrun by ravenous rats? You call the Pied Piper! Take a trip to Hamelin Town this Friday, September 12th with the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and over 30 local students as they perform an original musical adaptation of the classic tale, The Pied Piper.

The local cast features Andrea Duvall as the Pied Piper, Hailey Cole as Sara, and Christian Derryberry and Kaylee Latham as the Mayor’s Son and Daughter. Also featured are Kendra Cross, Kayli Hadley, Devin Huckaby, Kisha Huckaby, Jaden Mullins, and Jonathan Richardson as the Mayor’s Council. Kendra Bertram, Taylor Cross, Landon Huckaby, Savannah Mercer, Moriah Moons, Sadie Moons, Stacy Pascual, Eli Rains, and Adam Dillon Whittenburg are the Cooks.

To complete the ensemble, Samantha Criswell, Maggie Cross, Tanner Cross, Maggie England, Evan Little, Loren Little, McKenna Moons, Ethan Rains, Jonna Upchurch, and Bailey Weston will appear as the Townskids of Hamelin. Tessa Cross, Tatum Harlan, Sydney Lowhorn, Cambria Moses, Esmeralda Pascual, Ella Smith, and Addison Weston play the troublesome Rats.

The Assistant Directors are Jessica Criswell and Jeremiah Shelton.

The Pied Piper will be presented at 7:00 PM at the Clinton County Learning Center. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children, and will be available at the door on the night of the show.
