Clinton Grand Jury returns several true bills in regular session

The Clinton County Grand Jury convened in regular session last Thursday, September 11 and returned several indictments. The following true bills were handed down in open Circuit Court last week:

* Justin Joe Daley, the alleged offense of receiving stolen property when on or about December 5, 2013, defendant received, retained or disposed of a 270 caliber Savage Rifle, the movable property of Paul Murphy.

* Kaleb A. Perdue, the alleged offenses of burglary third degree and theft by unlawful taking or disposition, when on or about July 2-4, the defendant entered or remained unlawfully in the Central Grove Baptist Church, with the intent to commit a crime and took or exercised control over an Epiphone electric guitar, Les Paul electric guitar, Dell projector, two Proview flat screen computer monitors, two guitar cases and $50 with the intent to commit a crime.

* Garry Daniels, the alleged offense of flagrant nonsupport, when on or about September 10, defendant failed to provide support for his minor child or children, now having been in arrears in excess of $1,000.

* Christopher D. Woodall, the alleged offense of receiving stolen property, when on or about July 2 through 5, defendant received, retained or disposed of a Proview flat screen computer monitor, the movable property of Central Grove Baptist Church.

* Hannah A. Warinner, the alleged offenses of burglary third degree and theft by unlawful taking or disposition, when on or about July 2 through 5, defendant entered or remained unlawfully in the Central Grove Baptist Church, with the intent to commit a crime, and took or exercised control over an Epiphone electric guitar, Les Paul electric guitar, Dell project, two Proview flat screen computer monitors, two guitar cases and $50, with the intent to commit a crime.

* Nick Posey, the alleged offense of flagrant nonsupport, when on or about May 3, 2011 through September 11, 2014, defendant failed to provide support for his minor child or children, now being in arrearage of approximately $4,743.14.

* Craig Patton, the alleged offense of theft by deception (two counts) when on or about April 2, defendant issued or passed a check or similar sight order for payment in the amounts of $2,733 and $1,947 to Big Orange Gate Company, knowing the check would not be honored by the drawee.

* Jonah Jones, the alleged offense of burglary third degree (two counts) when on or about July 26, he entered and remained unlawfully in the businesses known as Bonnie Brown’s Gas Station and Shearer Video, with the intent to commit a crime; possession of burglar’s tools (Class A misdemeanor); third degree criminal mischief when he broke out a front door of the gas station (Class B misdemeanor); and criminal mischief first degree, when he intentionally defaced, destroyed or damaged the property of Shearer Video.

* Tony Albertson, the alleged offense of receiving stolen property (two counts), when on or about December 5, 2013, defendant received, retained or disposed of a 270 caliber Savage rifle and a 50 caliber muzzleloader, the movable property of Paul Murphy.

* Gabe Beaty, the alleged offenses of burglary third degree (two counts), when on or about July 26, he entered or remained unlawfully in Bonnie Brown’s Gas Station and Shearer Video with the intent to commit a crime; criminal mischief first degree when he destroyed, defaced or damaged property of Shearer Video; possession of burglar’s tools (Class A misdemeanor) and third degree criminal mischief when he broke a front door of Bonnie Brown’s Gas Station (Class B misdemeanor).

* Jimmy K. Simmons, the alleged offense of theft by failure to make required disposition (five counts), when on or about April 28, defendant failed to deliver restored cars, four 1969 Chevrolet Camaros and a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle, to Brent Purcell after he had been paid to do so in an amount exceeding $500.
