J.R. “Slick” Polston, 67, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 in Campbellsville. He retired working for 30 years for Fruit of the Loom. He attended Calvary Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy (Gary) Phillips, Campbellsville, KY; Tonja Polston, Lebanon, KY; three grandchildren, Tyler and Garrett Phillips and Kendall Polston; two sisters, Katie Brockman and Patty Polston; a brother, Dwight Polston, all of Campbellsville; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with final resting place in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were made through Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
