Mattie B. Starnes, 90, Hwy. 558, Albany, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Pickett County Care and Rehab Center in Byrdstown, Tennessee. She was the wife of the late Jesse B. Starnes and a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Lee Starnes.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Faye Stockton and Shirley Abner; two sons, Roger Starnes and Eddie Kay Starnes, all of Albany; also seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns and Bro. Mike Allen officiating. Final resting place in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
