Rex Earl Widau, 63, Albany, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia. He was the husband of the late Judy (Claborn) Widau.

He is survived by three daughters, Amy Widau, Franklin, KY; Amanda Widau, Somerset, KY; Laura (Lance) Waskom, Greenwood, IN; his companion, Cindy Thrasher, Albany; a sister, Mary Neuman; a brother, Steve (Katie) Widau, all of Connersville, IN; a sister-in-law, Lois (Lou) Baumer, Fountain City, IN; also 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor David Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Online condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
