Local actors presentation of The Pied Piper is well attended

Over 100 people took a trip to Hamelin Town on Friday, September 12th with Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and over 30 local students as they performed an original musical adaptation of the classic tale, THE PIED PIPER.

The local cast featured Andrea Duvall as the Pied Piper, Hailey Cole as Sara, and Christian Derryberry and Kaylee Latham as the Mayor’s Son and Daughter. Also featured were Kendra Cross, Kayli Hadley, Devin Huckaby, Kisha Huckaby, Jaden Mullins, and Jonathan Richardson as the Mayor’s Council. Kendra Bertram, Taylor Cross, Landon Huckaby, Savannah Mercer, Moriah Moons, Sadie Moons, Stacy Pascual, Eli Rains, and Adam Dillon Whittenburg were the Cooks. To complete the ensemble, Samantha Criswell, Maggie Cross, Tanner Cross, Maggie England, Evan Little, Loren Little, McKenna Moons, Ethan Rains, Jonna Upchurch, and Bailey Weston appeared as the Townskids of Hamelin. Tessa Cross, Tatum Harlan, Sydney Lowhorn, Cambria Moses, Esmeralda Pascual, Ella Smith, and Addison Weston played the troublesome Rats. The Assistant Directors were Jessica Criswell and Jeremiah Shelton.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Clinton County was brought to Clinton County by Community Education with support from Extended School Services and Grider Hill Dock. Doris England served as accompanist throughout the week. The Tour Actor was Allison McCarthy, and the Tour Director was Mandi Corrao of the Missoula Children’s Theatre Touring Company.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Clinton County was presented locally by Clinton County Community Education with support from Extended School Services. For the past eleven years, Grider Hill Dock has partnered with Community Education to make Missoula Week possible by providing housing to the tour actor and director.
