To the Editor,
1 John 7 tells us about a light coming from God that is unlike any light we see with our human eyes here on Earth. Jesus lives in heaven inside that light that God gives out. When we are really connected with God and Jesus, we walk in that light, going where it takes us. And it takes us to the truth, and the presence of God and Jesus.
Verse 9 assures us that “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” As we walk in the light, God forgives us because Jesus paid the price as He died on the cross.
