Class of ‘56 breakfast gathering

All members of the CCHS Class of 1956 are invited to meet for breakfast at the Farmhouse Restaurant, Byrdstown, Tennessee, on Saturday, October 18 at 8 a.m. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Class of ‘54 to hold reunion

The CCHS Class of 1954 reunion will be held Saturday, October 18 at 5 p.m. at Albany First Baptist Church fellowship hall. Call 606-37-5624 or 606-688-0589 for information or reservations.

Lions Club meeting

The next meeting of the Albany Lions Club is Thursday, October 2 at 6 p.m. at Lee’s Famous Recipe. The District Governor will visit. All members and interested parties should attend.

Relay For Life meeting

The Clinton County Relay For Life committee will meet on Monday, October 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Early Childhood Center. All team captains and any new teams are urged to attend.

Fall Decoration Sale

A fall decoration sale will be held Thursday, October 2 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Clinton County Hospital dining room. Selling will be wreaths, tower arrangements, scarecrows, centerpieces and much more. Sponsored by the Hospital Auxiliary.

Foothills Festival Baby Show

Womanless Beauty Pageant

Project Graduation will host a Womanless Beauty Pageant on Saturday, October 4 at 6 p.m. at the CCHS gymnasium. Admission is $3 with children five and under admitted free.

CCHS Class of 1960 gathering

The Clinton County High School Class of 1960 will have a gathering (Foothills Festival weekend) on Saturday, October 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Albany Elementary. There will be a reunion planning meeting at 11 a.m. Please remind classmates, friends and sponsors to attend!

Albany City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, October 7 at Albany City Hall. The meeting is open to the public. 50-2

Beef Quality Assurance rescheduled

The Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) meetings that were scheduled for Monday, September 29 and Tuesday, September 30 have been cancelled.

The rescheduled dates for the Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) meetings will be on Tuesday, October 7, at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 9, at 10:00 a.m. at the Clinton County Extension Office. A BQA number is required for producers that are receiving cost share on the genetics portion of the CAIP. These meetings will also serve as an educational component of the cost-share program. Clinton County Middle School Site Based Decision Making Council meeting dates announced

The Clinton County Middle School Site Based Decision Making Council will meet on the first Monday of the month in the Conference Room at 4:30 on the following dates:

Twin Lakes Family Wellness Center will be offering beginning Swimming lessons October 6th – 10th. Cost is $45 for non-members and $35 for members.
