Good Neighbors Theatre seeking Talent Show participants

The Christmas season is fast approaching and Good Neighbors Theatre is planning a Christmas Spectacular.

It is to be a variety show that will feature individuals, both young and old, with talent to showcase revolving around the magical theme of Christmas.

In order to be a part of the evening’s entertainment, individuals will need to put together their own act for an audition showcasing their talent. It can be acting, singing, dancing, playing an instrument, or any number of other types of talent suitable for the stage.

Auditions will be held Tuesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the theatre.

Acts will then be organized into a performance under the coordination and direction of Amanda Hatfield. She can be reached with a message through GNT’s Facebook page or by phone 270-952-8093 for further information.

Rehearsals are scheduled for November 11, 18, 25, and December 2 and 4 all at 6:00 PM.

Performances are Friday, December 5 and Saturday. December 6 at 7:00 PM, and Sunday, December 7 at 2:00 PM.

By auditioning, the performer and the performer’s parent/guardian understands that this is a variety show which offers the opportunity to perform to a live stage audience.

This is not a contest and no prizes will be awarded. Please be further advised that though advice may be given, it is the performer’s responsibility to practice, come to rehearsals, have a show costume, and make their act show ready.

Performers must provide their own music if they use a CD. Pianists will be able to use GNT’s piano.
