Another fall season is here and with it, other than political campaigns and a noticeable drop in temperatures, also brings the time to change our clocks.

Readers in Albany and Clinton County and other parts in Kentucky and the southeast region are reminded that Daylight Saving Time will end this weekend and Central Standard Time will take effect officially at 2 a.m. this Sunday morning, November 2.

Although the change will mean people can get an extra hour of sleep Saturday night and Sunday morning, it also means an hour of less daylight for the next few months as well.

So again, everyone is reminded to set all their time pieces back one hour–remembering the phrase, “Spring forward and fall back”, prior to going to bed Saturday night or first thing Sunday morning to keep up with the time.

Daylight Saving Time will return the last Sunday of March, 2015 at 2 a.m.
