With the completion of the new Albany Fire Station, last Friday was “moving day” for several of the trucks in the Albany Volunteer Fire Department fleet.
Fire Department personnel were busy throughout the day moving trucks from the old station behind Dollar General, to the new facility behind the Clinton Emergency Services headquarters.
In the top photo, firemen Jerry Harrison, Rob Winsett and Marvin Adkins watch as Mike Walls backs one of the trucks into a bay at the new fire station.
At right, Adkins escorts a tanker truck being driven by Harrison from the parking lot of the old fire station.
An Open House at the new facility is being planned for November.
