Each year the Kentucky Directors of Pupil Personnel sponsor a High Attendance Day in September to help students focus on the importance of regular attendance as a vital part of their learning process.

As part of the High Attendance Day program, the state of Kentucky has a contest for the highest attendance in each region. The Clinton County School District is proud to announce that for the third year in a row, the Clinton County Early Childhood Center is the winner of the Region 14 Small Elementary School Division.

The ECC Kindergarten students were treated to Bulldog Blue Sonic slushes and a visit from “The Bulldog” on Friday, October 10, as the 2014-2015 award banner was hung in the cafeteria alongside the banners from 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.

“We are very proud that our Kindergarten students work so hard each year to earn this award,” said Clinton County Schools Director of Pupil Personnel Julie York. “If we can instill a love for school and learning in our smallest students, we can create a positive school culture that will last for many years.”
