Ruth Gibson Matthews, 80, Livingston, Tennessee and formerly of Clinton County, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late O.S. “Whiz” and Eldora “Gibson” Gibson and wife of the late Willie Cordell Matthews.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie (Joann) Matthews and Randy Matthews; two grandchildren, Rodney (Mary K.) and Brandy; two great-grandchildren, Kaytlen and Payton.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Peolia Cemetery. Arrangements made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany. Condolences may be made at www.campbell-new.com.
