Arnold “Shorty” Daniel, 79, Albany, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Clinton County Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lucille Daniel and served as Deputy Sheriff in Clinton County for 29 years.

He is survived by three daughters, Sandy Cowan, Lebanon, KY; Sharon Jones and Phyllis Lowhorn, both of Albany; two sons, Gilbert and Dean Daniel, both of Albany; special nephew, Harold Melton; five grandchildren, Jessica Cowan, Josh (April) Cowan, Brandy (Roy) Jones, Scotty Jones and Danny Lowhorn and four great-grandchildren, Eli and Braxton Jones, Jackson Cowan and Daniel Lowhorn.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Donald McGill and Bro. Ted Burchett officiating. Final resting place in Campbell Cemetery in Pickett County, Tennessee. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
