Christmas Decoration Sale

A Christmas Decoration Sale will be held Thursday, November 13 through 4 p.m. at the Clinton County Hospital dining room sponsored by the Hospital Auxiliary. Items selling will include Christmas wreaths and door hangers, snowmen, centerpieces and much more.

Retired Teachers call meeting

There will be a special call meeting of the Clinton County Retired Teachers on Tuesday, November 18 at 1 p.m. at Lee’s Famous Recipe. Members will be addressing the short-fall of funds for the Kentucky Teachers Retirement System.

Montell book signing at library

There will be a book signing by Dr. Lynwood Montell on Tuesday, November 25 from 3-6 p.m. at the Clinton County Public Library. He will have copies of his three newest books, Tales of Kentucky Ghosts, Tales from Kentucky One-Room School Teachers, and Tales from Kentucky Sheriffs. 5-2

The Clinton County Public Library is hosting a Showcase of Clinton County Crafters and Artists on Tuesday, November 18 starting at 3 p.m. Come join us and see the great things Clinton County has to offer. You may find great Christmas gifts to purchase. If anyone is interested in displaying their items, please contact the library to reserve your space or phone 387-5989.

Adair County Homemakers

Christmas Bazaar

On Saturday, November 22, 2014, the Adair County Extension Homemakers will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the VFW Hall on Fairgrounds St. in Columbia. Featured will be holiday decorations, crafts, homemade baked goods, jams and jellies. An added feature this year, will be the presence of several of our favorite vendors from the Farmers Market, with their crafts, jewelry and soaps. Come for lunch and good fellowship on the 22nd.

Twin Lakes Beekeepers to meet

The Twin Lakes Beekeepers Association will meet this Thursday, November 13 at 7 p.m. at the Extensoin Office. Those interested in beekeeping are welcome to attend.
