Twin Lakes Family Wellness Center pool is open

It’s always summer at the Twin Lakes Family Wellness Center in the swimming pool. Catch a break from all the cold and snow. The pool water temperature is a warm 85 degrees. You can close your eyes and almost smell the ocean.

Members are free and pool guests are just $3. Make it a day and include a Massage by Aubrey. Call 606-387-9622 for more information.

Soil Conservation meeting

The Clinton County Soil Conservation District will hold its monthly meeting Friday, November 21 at 8:30 a.m. in the conference room of the FSA/NRCS office. The meeting is open to the public.

Relay For Life meeting

The Clinton County Relay For Life Committee will meet on Tuesday, November 25 at 5 p.m. at the Early Childhood Center. All team captains and new teams are urged to attend.

Montell book signing at library

There will be a book signing by Dr. Lynwood Montell on Tuesday, November 25 from 3-6 p.m. at the Clinton County Public Library. He will have copies of his three newest books, Tales of Kentucky Ghosts, Tales from Kentucky One-Room School Teachers, and Tales from Kentucky Sheriffs. 5-2

Christmas Bazaar

On Saturday, November 22, 2014, the Adair County Extension Homemakers will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the VFW Hall on Fairgrounds St. in Columbia. Featured will be holiday decorations, crafts, homemade baked goods, jams and jellies. An added feature this year, will be the presence of several of our favorite vendors from the Farmers Market, with their crafts, jewelry and soaps. Come for lunch and good fellowship on the 22nd.
