Gladell Beaty, 90, Albany, born December 20, 1923, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at her residence. She was the wife of the late James Roy Beaty and was also preceded in death by a sister, Christell Poore and two brothers, Cordell and Kenneth Jones, a daughter-in-law, Glenna Beaty, and a son-in-law, Bob Cox.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Jones and Phyllis Beaty, Albany; Jackie Gordon Beaty, Troy, OH; and Kirby Joe and Denise Beaty, Nicholasville, KY; four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Oneta Hobson, Lexington, KY; Carol Dereda and Darrell Martin, Nicholasville, KY; Vicki Roseitta and Vince Randolph, Chattanooga, TN; and Peggy Alfreida Cox, Columbus, OH; also eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Sexton and Bro. Greg Wells officiating. Final resting place in Maupin Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Maupin Cemetery Fund in her memory. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
