NEWS to give readers a look at our ‘new’ public officials

With the past two elections in 2014 in Clinton County, including the May primary and November general election, several changes in the make-up of county and city government will take place when the calender turns in January 2015.

Because there will be several new faces and ideas coming next year, the Clinton County News will give our readers an opportunity to get to know better the first time officials who will be running our offices and city and county government over the next few years, as well as judgeships that affect our county and district.

In addition to new candidates, a couple of long-time public servants will bid farewell after December, those who have served for up to three decades in either service to the residents of the City of Albany or Clinton County.

Next month, our new officials will get to introduce themselves, as well as giving their visions for the city and county in the years to come and those who have served for decades will also get a chance to review their careers as public servants.

The Clinton County News will run a series on our new officials and out-going long-time public servants beginning in the December 4 issue and hope our readers find it informative as they get better acquainted with those who will be in leadership roles in our community come 2015.
