Jimmie W. Peavie, 85, Albany, and formerly of New Castle, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Clinton County Hospital. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was the son of the late James Rice and Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Peavie, husband of the late Ruth E. Peavie and was also preceded in death by a sister, Flonnie Neal; four brothers, Roy, Charlie, Herbert and Hershel Peavie and three infant brothers.

He is survived by five children, Betty (Johnny) Warinner, Albany; Wanda (Dave) Tuggle of New Castle, Ronnie (Vanessa) Peavie of Pendleton, Patsy Gibson of New Castle and Debbie (Mick) Sims, Elwood, 11 grandchildren, Jimmie Warinner of Danville, Ky., Jason Warinner of Albany, Ky., Joshua Warinner of Albany, Ky., Brian Supinger of New Castle, Mike Tuggle of Cumberland, Maryland, Dave Tuggle of Germantown, Maryland, April Jayne of Pendleton, Rachel Smith of New Castle, Vicki Williams of Middletown, Justin Elsbury of Indianapolis and Kevin Hager of Anderson; also 21 great-grandchildren and special friend, Carol Larkins.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with final resting place in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition, New Castle, Indiana. Arrangements were made through Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service of New Castle.
