Johnny Ralph Shelton, 52, of Albany, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Clinton County Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Ray Shelton and was a member of Gospel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Nadine Cowan and step-father, Ivan Cowan; one son, Matthew Shelton; one daughter, Sherry L. Shelton, both of Albany; a step-sister, Vickie Burke; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Brown, Jaxon Brown, Jared Brown, and Annsley Shelton.

Services were held Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. from Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Booher and Rev. Donald McGill officiating. Burial was in Highway Cemetery.
