It was a packed house again this year at the Clinton County Learning Center for the annual Clinton County Homemakers sponsored Christmas Village. The annual event gives children the chance to participate in a host of holiday related events, including the opportunity to get some early Christmas Shopping done without being spied on by those they are shopping for.

Above, Clinton County Extension Agent Christy Nuetzman tried to convince a young boy that Santa was a nice fellow – but he wasn’t having anything to do with the jolly old fellow.

At left, Santa’s Helper Kelsie Payne helped Angel pick out some gifts from the display table.

Below, more of Santa’s Helpers wrapped gifts that young shoppers had picked out during their shopping experience.

Clinton County High School student members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and members of the Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) worked as Santa’s Helpers.
