Porter Richard Smith, 81, Moores Hill, Indiana and a native of Albany, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014. He was the son of the late Robert and Lilly (Stinson) Smith and worked as foreman at Asplundh Tree Service.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Smith, Moores Hill, IN; a son, Denny (Mary Beth) Smith of Lawrenceburg, IN; a daughter, Kim Powell, Moores Hill, IN; a brother, Carl Smith; four sisters, Sally Atkinson, Sue Brasswell, Betty Foster and June Turner; also five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13 at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Clinton County with visitation after 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Final resting place will be in the church cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Dearborn County (IN) Hospice.
